Peter Murphy returns with brand-new music late this spring as he releases his much-anticipated 10th album Lion, an 11-track collection produced by Killing Joke bassist Youth that the former Bauhaus frontman previewed in rough form over the PA before concerts on his 2013 tour and at a $750-a-head listening party in Los Angeles last fall.
The Black Crowes may have gone on hiatus (and then off of it), but the band’s guitarist Rich Robinson never stopped making music. He co-founded the group with his brother Chris and drummer Steve Gorman in Atlanta in the late Eighties and went on to release his own albums in 2004 and 2011. On June 3rd, he’ll return with his third solo flight, The Ceaseless Sight (Circle Sound/The End Records).
Guitarist/singer/songwriter Bob Mould was initially a member of Hüsker Dü, one of the most influential American bands of the ’80s. Hüsker Dü was a post-hardcore punk band that helped define the sound and ideals of alternative rock.
